so to display the products, you have to : 1. add some new products and display them on the featured products : admin>calalog>choose product > (Catalog : check the home tick ) 2. make some orders and validate them in admin>orders 3. apply a reduction to a product

I just want you to know that you should stop making this beautifull themes, because I can’t decide on one. It was the Minimaliste my favorite, but now, eith the b&w I had to start all over. I can manage to make the romanian translation, appear on this theme (B&W).
On the standard prestashop theme all is ok in matter of transaltion, but on B&W theme it’s not working.
I put all the wright permissions in the themes/black&white/lang/ro.php, file with is a copy of the prestashop/lang/ro.php
Any ideea why it’s not working.
P.S. Some of the words are translated but just a few.

dans un premier temps il faut vérifier si vous utilisez la version Prestashop 1.2.4 ou supérieure
Vérifiez aussi si vous avez désactivé le Javascript dans votre navigateur dans le menu options
vous pouvez aussi ouvrir le fichier « votreboutique/modules/editorial/editorial.tpl », ecrire quelque chose dessus juste pour simuler une modification, ensuite enregistrez-le
sinon si vous avez une demo en ligne, je pourrais mieux vous aider

try to move all the modules in theme file to yourshop/modules. Because when you translate a module, Prestashop generate two language files one in « yourshop/modules/…/ro.php », and one other in « themes/modules/…/rop.php », there is maybe a confusion between them

I have 2 problems: The first is with display viewed products – I transplanted block to « Right column blocks » but it appears bad (look at). The second problem is with the module « Editorial: – If I rewrite the news in editorial.tpl nothing will change, still shows « Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Praesent sit…. » What I doing wrong? THANK YOU.

yes, you have reply Anry that it should have at least 4 products in the same category,but I doubt it’s not the reason.first,the appearance of title In the same category is brown and have no backgound,but in your demo(as well as the demo here not mine, I only test it locally) the title In the same category is black and have two lines up and down(this is a css background),so it has no relation with how many products that have in the same category(even that you can see the demo that I just mentioned link ),the data is also the default ones(only have three products in the category,but works fine as your demos)

2 points a noter :
1) Comment faire une donation paypal pour te remercier ?
2) Si je peux me permettre et afin d’Ă©viter des questions, tu devrais rajouter dans le install.txt les 2 points suivants :
[7]. Dans le back office, Modules > Positions, supprimez :
- le panier d’achat de la colonne de droite
- champs de recherche dans le header
[8]. Copiez le dossier « blocknewsletter » tĂ©lĂ©chargĂ© avec le thème (module/blocknewsletter) dans le dossier « module » de votre site. Puis pour la position, bien greffer « blocknewsletter » (et non pas « newsletter ») au footer. Sinon, vous n’aurez que le footer sans l’emplacement « newsletter ».

I got it to work, well somehow. seems that the box correct itself when you add more than 6 products in one category. Kind of weird bug.
And, if you can’t have a category with more than 6 items in it, editing the {if} statements in the templates and js script doesn’t seem to affect anything at all. Must be missing something
Ok so I figured a real fix for the stupid bug with the « In the same cat » block.
Edit the global.css in blackwhite/css/
remove the whole « #productscategory_noscroll » line and add « #productscategory_noscroll » to #productscategory. It should look like this:
#productscategory, #productscategory_noscroll {width:390px; float:right;}
then add « text-align: center; » to « #productscategory_list li »
and finally, edit productscategory.tpl in /blackwhite/modules/productscategory/
to add a tag between the and tags.
they’re the tags that close the product image link and open the the product text link.

hi Chris,I test you method,seems not work,still thank you, and I did a small change in themes\blackwhite\modules\productscategory\productscategory.tpl line 4,I changed if count($categoryProducts) > 6 to >0 all work well.
now the reason is clear,if there is not enough to 6 products,so the div id=productscategory_noscroll,other wise the div id=productscategory,the div id differences lead to the css difference,thus made the appearance error.hope this helps!
Nice to hear that you found a fix. I had tried something similar.
After learning that you had to clean the compile cache in the smarty tool folder to see changes made to the .tpl file, I replaced the whole {if} statement of the line 4 by id= »productscategory » but it looked kind of ugly (see here -> ). I played a little more with the css and tpl files in /themes/blackwhite/ and ended up with something that look like as if there was 6 items in the category -> link

I forgot to mention earlier that I had also added a #productscategory_noscroll h3 on the line 798 of the css.

Le slider qu’offre ce .js n’est pas du tout utilise sur ta demo et le module Categoriebar non plus mais les deux sont present dans le dossier du theme sur ta demo. J’ai assume que c’etait des « left over » mais je voulais avoir la confirmation avant de les netoye du header.tld. Enfin surout pour le fichier .js.

Its a big fantastic work. Work really hard for creating such kind of best themes. In black & white theme we have a big space or gap in login page. Creating new account. A big gap between order steps image then login or create account which continue till to payment page. As i have already talked to Kamel. Anybody have an experience abt the same issue. How do you edit the text on top of the scrolling bar on the Black&White theme. The editorial module wont install onto the admin panel (unless its under a name which i just havent recognised) but it sill works fine. Ive changed the images but cant change the text over the top. Is there a file i can manually change the text?

Hey guys. One problem with taxes on this template. I have products to display not with tax and only have taxes showing in the checkout page, but taxed prices still display on products. Anyway to fix this?
also on check out, the regular template gives the break down with what tax is included and this theme doesnt. Anyway to fix this?

Just wanted to say thanks for a great template and to ask a question regarding the Top Sellers module. Currently it works on all pages except the product page. On the product page it stops writing the code half way through the view link for the first product and also all of the code before this module in the footer.tpl is being ignored. Any thoughts, as help would be appreciated.

I think there is a bug on the product page. In the back office I set all stock management off. When I view the product page it says this:
1 item in stock items in stock
Warning: Last items in stock!
When I try the default prestashop theme, this problem does not happen.

regardes dans le fichier « ../shop/config/settings.inc.php(ligne4) », si tu appelles bien le bon theme(BlackWhite), je viens de voir le code source de ta page d’accueil (ligne13), et apparement Presta ne capte pas bien la feuille de style « global.css »

Hi, i am having trouble with the cart button on all pages within site! The link will not open ‘order.php’ successfully?? You can access the cart by adding a product but not from any other page/button?
Also the login button is not functional. It is suppose to load ‘my-account.php’ but i am getting an error screen, same as shopping cart???
Solved the problem with error pages. The SSL feature caused several pages to crash. So you cannot apply SSL security within your website. After testing the site in different browsers, everything worked fine except in Internet explorer. The carts text was not aligned properly and some other text within site was centered instead of alighned to the left???

J’ai essayĂ© un peu toutes les trads en passant par l’outil traduction.
Les autre modules (Nouveaux produits, meilleures ventes, offres spéciales) sont ok dans mes 2 langues, seul le bloc newsletter resiste.

Thank you so much for your amazing PS templates.
I am currently using your Black & White template and I notice a bug which can adversely affect store owners and clients.
You can follow the following steps to replicate the issue:
1. Create a product with text field customization, set it to required.
2. On the front, fill in the text field under product customization and add the item to the cart.
3. Go back to the same product again and save the customization text field without filling anything in the required fields, add the product to the cart.
Now you will notice two issues occur, the shopping cart on the top header menu increases the number of items in the cart, whereas the checkout page still does not add the product in the cart hence the number remains and does not add up, the cart does not allow you to add any items, as you have not filled in the required text fields.
So there are discrepancies between the info shown on the checkout page and the info shown on the top header menu.
I also notice that the checkout page does not allow the customers to modify the number of items or delete the items, if the items are « customizable » items.
I hope this makes sense

Tout d’abord bravo pour tes templates, j’en ai pas vu de plus belles (mĂŞme en payant).
Sinon j’ai aussi le problème du bloc newsletter qui n’apparait pas (mĂŞme en suivant point par point la notice), j’ai beau remplacer ton module, puis le greffer et le dĂ©placer, rien a faire il n’arrive jamais a s’afficher…
La seule mĂ©thode est de le dĂ©placer dans right_column et la il s’affiche… mais dans le footer, rien a faire…
Si quelqu’un a une idĂ©e ! je suis preneur.

Effectivement ca apparait maintenant, par contre les blocs ne s’alignent pas a l’horizontale mais ils s’empilent.

Thanks for the fantastic template. Installation was pretty smooth, but I do have one problem I was hoping someone could help me with.
For some reason the price is not displayed on the category page for my products. Also, the box where the price and « cart » text would normally appear on top of the product image (here), but it’s showing up below the image on my site here.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Normalement quand on clic sur une catĂ©gorie qui a des sous catĂ©gories, on arrive sur une page avec la description et l’image (si on en a mis une) et les sous catĂ©gories en dessous qui apparaissent en lien!
Alors que avec ce thème quand on clic sur une catĂ©gorie mère il n’y a pas de liens des sous catĂ©gories? et la description avec l’image non plus?
En faites les descriptions des catĂ©gories ne s’affiche pas !!!

J’ai installĂ© le template, ça se passe plutĂ´t pas trop mal, en fait je rencontre les mĂŞmes problèmes que ceux qui m’ont prĂ©cĂ©dĂ© comme le module mĂŞme catĂ©gorie mais je viens de lire le message de Chris et normalement c’est OK.
Par contre je ne rĂ©ussis pas Ă rĂ©gler le problème du module newsletter. J’ai supprimĂ© le module, je l’ai mĂŞme effacĂ© du dossier modules pour ĂŞtre sĂ»r, j’ai rĂ©installĂ© le module livrĂ© avec le thème de Kamel, rĂ©installĂ© dans Prestashop, rien, ça marche pas, je ne vois toujours pas le module Newsletter (et j’ai bien installĂ© le bon pourtant).

petit rappel, si tu modifies une variable de traduction dans ce fichier, tu perds la traduction française (logique). Donc après avoir modifiĂ© le « alose » par un « also » tu retournes dans ton back office, tu Ă©dites ton FR et tu donnes la traduction de « You also may like ». Et voilĂ .

Je viens d’installer le thème. J’ai pu rĂ©gler quelques problèmes en lisant ce fil, mais j’en ai toujours 2.
- Avec les thème prestashop, je vois la langue Polonaise que j’ai installĂ©, mais dès que ja passe au thème BW, plus possible de le voir.
- J’ai la zone de recherche amputĂ©e des border top et bottom. Je ne vois vraiment pas comment faire.
Donc merci pour ce thème. Il est superbe. Sobre, juste ce qu’il nous fallait.

I saw in other themes but i cant check any difference in code, but, i cant « hide » the size attribute from drop down when quantity is 0, ex.: link, as you can see there the size (tamanho) goes from XS to XL beacause all other sizes are unvailable. Other question is, how to fix in product page the other views thumbs? when we put the mouse over the thumb it goes to the top.

I’m using the Black and White theme (best prestashop templae) and I’ve just installed the Paypal website payment pro module and it’s not displaying correctly (at the bottom of page instead of top) all the other payment / login modules look and work fine.
I’ve added the some .css bits to the global.css but still it displays far to down the page.

Pour pouvoir vendre des prodtuis je les mets en stock (dĂ©clinaisons obligent sinon on peut pas choisir d’option), par contre j’ai des produits sur lesquels il peut y avoir plusieurs semaines de dĂ©lai de livraison.

En fait c’est vraiment Ă©trange car du coup j’ai essayĂ© les 3 thèmes et seul « Element » fonctionne. Les deux autres, black&white et 2049 m’affiche une page blanche. D’autant plus Ă©trange que le principe d’install est le mĂŞme pour les 3 thèmes.
Une idée?

franchement Bravo et Merci beaucoup pour ton bon gout et la qualitĂ© de ton travail. J’ai passĂ© près de 3 heures avant d’arriver Ă choisir le template qui conviendrait Ă mon site, il sont tous super bien faits je ne savais plus ou donner de la tĂŞte. Cela fait près de 6 mois que je farfouille sur le web pour trouver des templates sympas et pas trop chers et quand je suis tombĂ© sur ton travail je n’en revenais pas. En tout cas je ne manquerais pas de faire un don dès que mon site aura fait ses premières ventes, ton travail est vraiment parfait. Bon je vais quand mĂŞme arrĂŞter de te passer la pommade
Au passage j’aurai besoin d’un petit coup de pouce, quand je clic sur une categorie les sous categories ne s’affichent pas. Je cherche une solution et je pense avoir trouvĂ© un indice mais je n’arrive pas Ă conclure le truc. D’après moi il faudrait rajouter dans un code semblable Ă

Does anyone know how I link the pages? I can see the product pages when I go to mysite.com/product-21.php, but when I click on the product, it doesn’t see product-21.html. Do I need to create separate html pages?
Also I have a facebook module that I want to replace the Special modules with on the right side, but it keeps staying on the left and messing up my new products, even when I transplant/position the module.

but it looks like in the example.
I install it like this:
1. normal Intalacion prestashop
2. black & white copy in themes folder and activate the theme.
3.copio modules of black & white and paste in my store folder overwrites modules that were installed by default.
4. install the module top horizontal menu.
Now the problems:
1. I do not see the editorial example.
2. I see no colors pricing … etc.

@shaun : you MUST create one carrier in Prestashop. Before testing your shop be sure you have all done correct in Prestashop.

I have just installed the latest stable version of prestashop 1.2.5 and the default theme works perfectly.
However I wanted to install your amazing back & white theme, so I downloaded it and followed the instructions.
Firstly the theme preview .jpg doesn’t show up in the templates although it is there to select, after I have done the save process I went to the modules section but the new modules just showed as having lots of errors and hadn’t installed. Subsequently the webpage just shows a blank – what am I doing wrong?
Any help would be appreciated, it almost feels like this template only works with 1.2.4

Hi there. Thank you so much for this wonderful theme. I absolutely love it! I do have one small problem. I would like to display the info block & tag hooks in the left column but when I do, the center column (products) gets pushed down and everything is is unaligned. guys do u guys have problems with products category, when ever i click on my products, the same products category on the page keeps moving to the center, i have over 20 products and the product category is quite irritating when i want to look at everything on this category from the 1st item on the left. when u click left, left and click on 1st item, it rolls to the middle again and u have to click left one by one. how can i stop the product category to the place i am viewing and change the next and previous button to 6 products rather then 1 product at once?
one more thing, on your product site, there is a tab DATA sheet just beside description, how do i make the button or tab stand out? bold or 3d look? now its just like normal text on the site.

J’ai regardé les droits sur les fichiers qui me semblent corrects. Je suis chez OVH. J’ai activé les urls simplifiées avec htaccess.

Solved one of the problems.
If the columns look wrong, and you’ve installed and positions the modules correctly; try this out!
Go to the root-folder of the shop.
Then go to smarty/tools/compile.
Delete all the files in there and try now!
Hope that helps!
Btw; I have anew problem of my own.
Swedish letters, such as Ă…Ă„Ă– do not work in his own .tpl-files.
such as order-stops.tpl.
For instance; Ă– and Ö does not work. It only leaves the blank.

I think I have managed to crash my translation. My frontpage translate perfectly when I click on any flag and is still translated when I go to a subcategory.. But if I´m in a subcategory andl change my language by clicking a flag I see the url change (ex. lang-en to lang-fr) but the meny and cart-buttom won´t change the language.
Do you guys/girls have any idea how I can fix this? I have search the net for a solution with no luck. I have tried to restore the global.css and header.tpl but maby this isn´t the correct file?

When I add a product to the cart and change the language when I´m on the orderpage, the menu and everything else change perfect.. so it seems like it´s only in the subcategories

Did you notice the product image is flickering when you hover over the thumbnail images. I’ve been trying to fix this for days now but it’s a hard nut to crack.

I have installed your lovely effective theme. I am also kind of new to Prestashop, not to design, but we moved over from Magento because we were having serious problems with it.
I am having an issue finding where the bottom footer information is. I have looked in translations in the Front Office control panel in Prestashop, using Firebug to find or figure out where the code lies, but I have no idea which file holds the bottom info so I can change it..
By bottom info I mean « More Infos » « Geet in Touch » etc

I can´t get sendtoafriend module to work. I use PS v1.2.5 with sendtoafrien v1.1 but when I install the module I get the text « send » overlapping the icon. When I click it I get the correct redirection …/modules/sendtoafriend/sendtoafriend-form.php?id_product=1 but with an error message: Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Is this a host error or is there anything on my site?

Dear Kamel,
I think there is still a bug in the blockbestsellers module. When I replaced the tpl.file for your updated file it still ignores the footer on the product page. But when you deactivate the module, the footer appears again. So, it must be something in the module.
Another thing, the position of the template moves a little bit from left to right when you click on the cms links in the footer (blockvariouslinks). For example: on the demo site of Black & White, you click on ‘Legal Notice’ and on ‘Terms and conditions’.

Je rencontre juste un souci.. j’ai crĂ©Ă© un site sous prestashop, qui tourne sans souci avec le template PS.
Par contre, dès que je mets ton thème (black&white ou ipnotik) mon hĂ©bergeur m’envoie des alertes sur certaines pages (category.php ou update.php) qui sollicitent trop le CPU du serveur.. au bout de 24H, mon site est bloquĂ© par OVH.

This didn’t work at all and when I try to use it my new products and the changed viewed products disapear.

there’s a mistake in newsletter block… maybe it depends on version of prestashop, but in my 1.2.5 there should be in install function registerHook(’Footer’) instead of registerHook(’hookFooter’)…

J’ai installĂ© PrestaShop Version 1.3.0.10 pour essayer MOON sur cette nouvelle version. Et voilà ça marche. Sauf quelques dĂ©tails pas trop difficile Ă corriger.
MAIS: seule chose qui ne va pas du tout (no, deux choses ne marchent pas du tout) c’est le « center_bottom » – l’image du font en bas du content block est totalement dĂ©placĂ© – et les catĂ©gories j’ai greffĂ© au left hook son quelque part en bas des pages !!!
Est-ce qu’il y a dĂ©jĂ une solution ??? Je suis sur c’est quelque chose très facile … mais je ne le vois pas !

Hmm. I’ve installed the template at a Prestashop 1.3 (latest stable) now… there seems to be some bugs, just to let you know. Can’t rule out that are some minor things to change to fix it back up tho… I’ll drop a few lines in here if I figure this out when I get to look more into it.

Je finis les tests pour basculer prochainement mon site sous ce template. Ensuite je test la version 1.3 et je testerai donc aussi ce template je vous tient au courant.

You should change line 129 into the \modules\blockcategories\blockcategories.php
put the string:
while($rootCateg->id_parent > 1){
instead of this one:
while($rootCateg->id_parent != 1){
or you can change it to:
while($rootCateg->id_parent >= 1){
to get this left menu as in demo

To all that are asking if works on 1.3…I just installed the template on the last prestashop version 1.3.1 and in general is working fine. Except for a couple of problems:
1. Product page is not showing the right column blocks( New/Top Sellers,etc) and the footer? Is this a bug or I did something wrong as this is the only page that I not able to see the right column and the footer.
2. Even thought I add a couple of products in the accessories in order to have the « You may also like » but it’s not showing.
3. I have setup on BO for not show how many products I have. But I still see that on the products page, any way to have this turn off?
4.I also don’t want the cart page showing right after the customer add something to the cart. Same as in question 3 I have this function OFF on BO but somehow still ON when use the template.
5. Finally there’s anyway to use the Ajax effect for the add to cart that you have on ELEMENT template in the Blackwhite?
Sorry for the big post and thanks a lot for put some slick styles on prestashop!

If the message « There is no carrier available that will deliver to this address! » doesn’t appear on the Shipping page during Check out(and it supposed to be) it’s because the text color is white(global.css, .warning{color:white}) Took some time to find it out!:)

Ahh.. the warning text supposed to be white with black background but the #center_column overwrites it. Can be solved with inserting !important to .warning {background:black !important;…} in global.css

Just a quick update regrading may post:
1. I still didn’t figure out this one, but my solution was let the Top Sellers block out as everything works fine on product page when I don’t have this module
2. This one I solved by tweak the CSS but only get one product even thought I have to setup to show up. Not a big deal though.
3. Haven’t fix this yet but I am pretty sure should be something on TPL file. So I’ll consider solved
4.Solved tweak the files, but he function still not working if OFF only on Back Office.
5. This one I did’t figure out, as I want more have in order to be easy to the customer see that the product went to the cart. But since I couldn’t manage to have this work. My solution was make the cart and product a bit bigger using the CSS so at least is more visible.
So pretty much done and soon a new site with the with this great template from Kamel.

just use the original color picker code avaiable on the original pretostore product.tpl file (under the original theme folder).
Search for the word « picker » in both files, the code block has a remark, substitute that block on the black&white produtct.tpl and chanege with the original one!

1. i want to add german as a language. but it says this filoe is missing: blackwhite/lang/de.php
2. the toplins (between the logo and the diasho, has 2 rows. I want in the first one the general links like « about us » etc. and in the second one the product categories. how do i do that ?

Managed to get presashop to see the themes by pulling the theme out of the theme folder but they dont display correctly all the type in the header on 3 themes I have dowmloaded displays outside of the header.
But thanks again for putting them up ..dont understand why the theme would be inside in an internal folder.

Je cherche un module qui permet d’intĂ©grer les liens vers reseaux socciaux (facebook, twitter…) sur les produits et le le footer un peu comme sur kissmezombie.com ou duteafree.com.
J’ai trouvĂ© un module ( »Partage sur les RĂ©seaux Sociaux » sur le forum prestashop) mais il apparait mal en le rattachant sur le hook « Extra actions on the product page » (au mieux il apparait derrière le produit.
Je pense qu’il faut modifier product.tpl mais je suis bloquĂ© quelqu’un aurait il fait cette dĂ©marche ou aurait un autre module Ă me suggĂ©rer.

Vincent, c’est très simple d’intĂ©grer des bookmarks sur les pages produits, pas besoin de modules pour cela
tu rĂ©cupères le code addthis ou addinto et tu l’intègres directement ou tu veux dans le fichier product.tpl du thème de ton site.
Personnellement, j’ai un peu modifiĂ© le code de addinto pour qu’il fasse la largeur des photos de mon site.
ou veux-tu le mettre ?

I have changed the details in editorial but although my images come up (except number 4, that remains slide 2 (so I have 1,2,3,2). Also ive tried to change the writing underneath the slider, but to no avail. Please help!

On the demo shop for Black and White I notice the buttons are fairly tight with no large white box to the right like on my website (www.mandminspirations.com). How do I make the buttons tighter so there is no large gap to the right of the categories/products?

Hi — great theme. I was looking for some help to adapt a slider to the pictures on the product page (so that instead of passing the mouse over the pictures, they will change automatically. I have this slider and a couple of others, but they are all modules. The specific jpg is always coded into the tpl and the image is in the folder with the module. Could a line of code be substituted so that instead of calling a jpg in the folder, it calls the product images (something like name|escape:’htmlall’:'UTF-8′} »/>. Any ideas?

je viens de tĂ©lĂ©charger votre template (qui est excellent!) mais j’ai deux-trois gros soucis, en cherchant je n’ai pas trouvĂ© de rĂ©ponse Ă mes questions, donc je me tourne vers vous.
Alors 1er problème : J’aimerais avoir 5 boutons dans le menu du haut : Accueil, Collection, Presse, A propos et Contact, sans avoir un sous menu qui s’affiche. J’ai essayĂ© de crĂ©er des liens vers des pages du site, mais quand on clique sur un des boutons rien ne s’affiche.
2eme problème : Les produits phares ne s’affichent pas.
3eme problème : Je n’arrive pas Ă crĂ©er un compte client (c’est embĂŞtant pour un e-shop). Il me dit ou que « une erreur est survenue au moment de la crĂ©ation de votre compte » ou « mot de passe invalide »….
Aidez-moi s’il vous plait ! La boutique doit ĂŞtre en ligne dans 5 jours!

Je viens d’installer Prestashop 1.3.2.3 en local pour tester le thème Black & White … tout me paraĂ®t ok … sauf que l’apparence de mes articles dans les pages catĂ©gories n’ont pas le mĂŞme aspect que sur la version dĂ©mo (CAD : titre, prix, liens « dĂ©tails » et « panier » par dessus l’image avec un fond noir transparent) mais juste du texte noir en dessous de l’image !!!?!

As You see on the main page I’ve lost the bottom divider and whole right column floats to the left of the browser. I really don’t know how to solve it. Is it a matter of any tpl files ? On another page it looks better but still without divider.

Hi. Thank you for a grate theme. I have one problem with theme. I am not able to translate editorial text caption on the image. i go to translate modules, input text to the “First image in editorial” “for Prestashop” so on and click save. It says successfully saved but in reallity the text is not saved.
When I edit “editorial – editorial – prestashop – 21 expressions (20)” the text is saved mylanguage php file.
As I understand system is not able to create parameter in php file or there is some problem for editorial text.
Could you please help me to solve this problem.

And, for the price issue, I use a formatting X0,000(as with dollars). But, somehow in the price, there’s missing « comma » sign inside the price : « $ 2500″ should be « $ 2,500″. How can this happen?

I’ve installed version 1.4 and I was really happy to see it’s got an ajax cart now. But somehow, while doing some appearance changes, it suddenly stopped working – now the link « add to cart » is working without ajax, simpoly redirecting to the shopping-cart page. Any idea why???

Hi Kamel, merci beaucoup pour ce thème merveilleux! J’ai un problème avec les blocs greffĂ©s sur « right column blocks ». J’aimerais ajouter un bloc avec un texte individuel, mais je n’arrive pas Ă le positionner. Il est toujours affichĂ© sur les blocs existants, superposant les autres informations. Ce que je voudrais faire, c’est positionner deux blocs standard (blocktags et blockspecials) qui sont positionnĂ©s dans la deuxième et la troisième colonne du « right column blocks » un peu plus bas, de sorte que je peux placer un bloc plus large au-dessus les deux blocs. Mais je n’arrive pas Ă changer la valeur « top » des divs correspondants aux blocs parce qu’il est codĂ© dans un Ă©lĂ©ment style dans le code est pas dans un css. Mais c’est dĂ©fini oĂą – je ne trouve pas…

Tout d’abord bravo pour vos excellents thèmes, mais j’ai un petit souci sur le thème black and white avec l’alignement sur internet explorer. J’ai tĂ©lĂ©chargĂ© la version pour prestashop 1.4, mais pas moyen de centrer ma page sur IE en local et sur le serveur.

how to add or change the subpage web header image? I installed the black and white theme. and found out that the subpage is short of the web header image. Where do i miss it out?

just one question: does this theme support canonical urls? There’s the option « Automatically redirect to Canonical url » in the PS admin tool, but it says, theme must be compliant…

I have a problem with the cart… when i choose a prod., I can see in the cart with the price, then I make click in the more details and the cart is empty… and said like I dont have any prod. in the cart… how can I fix? many thanks

j’ai bien compris que celĂ se modifie dans le dossier editorial du theme choisi (b&w) fichier editorial.tpl mais alors que j’ai bien modifiĂ© ce fichier, rien ne change en front office?
et lorsque je regarde avec firebug, j’ai toujours le mĂŞme texte et les mĂŞmes liens qui s’affichent. pour les images pas de soucis, j’ai bien rĂ©ussi Ă les modifier dans le mĂŞme dossier .
Donc si tu peux me conseiller lĂ desus.

pour pouvoir changer mon texte, j’ai modifiĂ© le fichier compilĂ© editorial.tpl.php situĂ© dans les dossiers Tools / smarty/compile
Si j’essaie juste de supprimer ce fichier et de modifier le editorial.tpl du theme, j’ai une erreur smarty, page blanche Ă partir du slider !

J’ai un problème avec le module « produits phares » en page d’accueil: les images chargĂ©es sont des « large » (lourdes) qui sont ensuite redimensionnĂ©es. J’aimerais charger des « home » pour plus de lĂ©gèretĂ©.
Je suis allĂ©e dans le module Homefeatured du thème BW et dans le homefeatured.tpl , les images indiquĂ©es sont pourtant bien « Home ».
Je ne comprends rien, pourquoi ce sont les « large » qui sont chargĂ©es et comment changer ?

Bonjour, super thème que je viens d’installer sur 1.4.4.1. c’est vraiment gĂ©nial de trouver un template de cette qualitĂ©.
J’ai juste une remarque : la page de changement d’adresse ne fonctionne que sous SMARTY 3. Mais dès que je dĂ©sactive smarty 2 au profit de smarty3, c’est tout le site qui ne s’affiche plus ! est-ce que quelqu’un aurait une solution ?
je me rends bien compte que c’est anecdotique par rapport Ă tout le travail dĂ©jĂ fourni ; mais ce serait gĂ©nial d’avoir une solution pour Ă©viter de tomber sur une page blanche au moment de changer d’adresse !

Seul petit problème, je n’arrive pas Ă changer les liens du slideshow. Rien ne se passe lorsque je modifie le fichier editorial.tpl dans le dossier thèmes/black&white/modules/editorial/.

Also, there is no file to tell you how to hook. Since I updated the cart has gone missing

I have trouble with long description module. If in the long description is nothing (is empty), than short description is positioned corectly, but if I type only one character then short description module is positioned under the long … You can see this live on my page
And second question is, how can I increase number of characters in short description?

I like this theme and I decided to use it for my shop. I made some modifications about the design, but now, I get a problem using the theme.
When I try to buy an item (I’m only testing for the moment), i keep held on step 2 – Shipping where I have to choose my carrier. There’s no way to go on and pay…
With the original theme of Prestashop, there’s no problem, so I guess there’s a problem with the theme, and certainly because of me. Could someone help me ?

Ottach : Pour modifier ton bloc CMS, regarde dans tes mondule celui qui est prĂ©sent dans ton footer. Pour ma part, c’Ă©tait le Blocvariouslink, donc j’ai pu modifier le template.

There are 2 errors :
lastname is required.
firstname is required.
Even though I did fill in both of those fields. Is there a fix for this?

J’ai un petit souci avec PS 1.4.8.2 et la barre « social » dans la page produit.
Le LIKE de facebook ne marche pas, le partage marche mais ne montre pas le nombre… une idĂ©e ?
C’est rĂ©solu, j’avais bougĂ© le shop (changemenent URL). Je n’avais qu’a refaire une compilation… et vider la cache (dans performance).

Using your theme under prestashop 1.4.8
There seems to be a small AJAX cart related problem.
When we click on add to cart on any page, the product gets added to the cart but there are no view/checkout links on the cart. All that is displayed is « Cart: 2 products »
No links or anything to proceed. If we refresh the page, it displays fine with checkout/view links, cart total etc. Thereafter adding products works fine.
How can I fix this?

Hello! I installed this theme to see how it fits to my shop. At install I checked to use theme configurations. This theme doesnt fits my needs so I have to remove it. But this is tricky, how do I remove this theme? I delete it from the server but it remains there. What can I do now? Thank you

hello! i have been using your theme. i would like to ask u a few questions if you dont mind.
here they go:
1- i am using ur slideshow on the home page. how can i add an effect like flash fade in fade out?
2- i managed to make the newsletter to appear on the home page (as many have reported it had been hidden), but now it is placed insite the blockvariouslinks (i think), right after the copyright etc. do u have any idea of how to move it up?
3 – I managed to centralize the navbar but i would like to give more spaces between the links, how can i do that?
I am trying to upload to a webserver so you could have a better look.

1 I’m not being able to change the content of the slideshow. I’ve edited editorial.tpl, gave all the file permissions possible, still it doesn’t change. I’ve looked at the prestashop forum thread, no help there either.
2, I cannot re-position the blocks using live edit. Is there any way to do it?
